The New Albany Bulldogs are on the road again  on Saturday to play the Evansville Reitz Panthers at 1:30  p.m.
 Last Thursday, New Albany came up short against Columbus North  and fell  47-40. The  match marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring  contest so far this season.
 Meanwhile, Evansville Reitz put another one in the bag  on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with  a   52-42  victory over Evansville North.
 Evansville Reitz's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Bailey Hape, who  had 19 points plus seven  rebounds and three  steals. With that strong performance,  Hape is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kaelyse Mitchell, who  dropped  a double-double on ten points and 16  rebounds.
 Evansville Reitz  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 18  offensive rebounds. That's the most  offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2023.
 New Albany dropped their record down to 1-4 with the  loss, which was their sixth straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for Evansville Reitz, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.
