Branford (1-7) and Creed/Hill Regional Career Magnet/Whitney RVT (2-6) go head to head this Friday at 7:00 PM. Branford might be a bit distressed seeing as how its point totals have been consistently dropping over the past three games.
Branford wasn't able to scrape together any points last week, falling to Lyman Hall 12 - 0. Senior Zachary Cash didn't go down without a fight, though. He put up some defensive resistance with 12 tackles.
Meanwhile, it has taken eight games to get there, but Creed/Hill Regional Career Magnet/Whitney RVT has finally bested an opponent on the road. It scooted by East Haven last week with a score of 27 - 7. Senior Tylen King was a big part of the win as his strong performance led the charge (he earned two touchdowns and 97 yards rushing the ball).
The last time they met, Creed/Hill Regional Career Magnet/Whitney RVT won 26 - 15. Will it come out on top again? We'll soon find out.
