Meanwhile, Lewistown entered their tilt with Farmington with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Lewistown claimed a resounding 63-31 victory over Farmington on the road.
Lewistown's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Abby Wiegand led the charge by scoring 15 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Lexi Kruzan, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Bushnell-Prairie City's loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-25. As for Lewistown, their victory bumped their record up to 16-13.
Bushnell-Prairie City was taken down by Lewistown 68-13 in their previous matchup last Monday. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Lewistown's Landry Smith, who scored 23 points along with eight steals and five assists.
