The Northeast Vikings fell victim to the Olpe Eagles''s stalwart defense on Thursday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were dealt a 62-0 loss at the hands of the Eagles. Northeast lost against Olpe in their previous head to head back in October of 2020, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 59-0 score last time.
Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Olpe, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
Northeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Olpe will square off against Central Heights at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Central Heights is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
