The Tennyson Lancers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Oakland Military Institute 73-16 at home. Tennyson might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five contests by 24 points or more this season.
Tennyson can attribute much of their success to Larrie Noble, who scored 20 points along with 6 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Noble has scored at least 25% of Tennyson's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mauricio Frech, who scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds.
Tennyson pushed their record up to 9-0 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points per game. As for Oakland Military Institute, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Tennyson will square off against Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Central Catholic will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Oakland Military Institute, they will head out on the road to face off against Golden State Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
