South Wake put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cary Christian Knights 73-28. The Sabres have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 24 points or more this season.
Rebekah Hartzell continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 7 for 12 on her way to 20 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 29 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Emma Crissman, who went 6 for 12 on her way to 13 points and four steals.
South Wake smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 20 consecutive contests dating back to last season.
