Softball Recap: Cleveland's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Cleveland's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Volcano Vista Hawks 18-7. Considering the Storm have won seven games by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Cleveland's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 9-11. As for Volcano Vista, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cleveland is set to face off against their familiar foe Rio Rancho at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Volcano Vista will take on rival Cibola at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
