On Friday Clinton take on Assumption at Clinton High School at 7:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close matchup.
Clinton were fully in charge last week, breezing past Wahlert 41-0.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Assumption lost to Solon, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 7-47. This makes it the second loss in a row for Assumption.
Clinton's win lifted them to 3-1 while Assumption's defeat dropped them down to 1-3. We'll find out if Clinton can add another positive mark to their record or if Assumption can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Clinton's step.
