ADDISON GANUS put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
GANUS wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was PEYTON KOLVA, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.
Mount Dora now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Hagerty, their win bumped their record up to 16-6.
Mount Dora's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Hagerty hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .334.
