Even though the Petrolia Pirates have not done well against the Archer City Wildcats recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Petrolia enjoyed a cozy 50-34 victory over Archer City. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Petrolia also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Among those leading the charge was Zoie Bowers, who scored nine points along with four steals. Holland Horton was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Petrolia and bumps their season record up to 13-17. As for Archer City, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-18.
Petrolia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Archer City also has no future games currently scheduled.
