Independence bumped their record down to 0-8 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 15.1 points per game. As for Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-13.
