The Jackson Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six  matches by 27  points or more this season. They really took it to Parkview for the full four quarters, racking up a  61-34 win on the road. Given Jackson's advantage  in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings  (they are ranked 24th, while Parkview is ranked 158th), the result  on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Jackson got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Taliah Cornish out in front who  scored 17 points. The  matchup was  Cornish's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Shakira Gresham, who  scored 13 points along with eight  rebounds.
 The  win  makes it two in a row for Jackson and  bumps their season record up to 9-1. As for Parkview, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson and Chapel Hill will face off  at 6:00  p.m.  on January 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Chapel Hill is hoping to put an end to  a three-game streak of away losses. As for Parkview, they will be playing at home against Discovery at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Discovery will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
