They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Danny Mckelliget and
Juan-Antonio Miranda, who scored.
Torrey Pines has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4-2 record this season. As for Calexico, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5-5.
Torrey Pines will head out on the road to take on Oceanside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oceanside will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Calexico will take on Palo Verde Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Palo Verde Valley has not scored a goal the last four times they've played, a trend they'll try and put an end to.
