Volleyball Recap: Fort Bend Kempner Takes a Loss

Fort Bend Kempner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Chisholm Trail Rangers.

Despite the loss, Fort Bend Kempner saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Natalie Zimmerman had 14 digs and two assists. Zimmerman has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Fort Bend Kempner's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Chisholm Trail, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

Fort Bend Kempner didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Burleson on the 22nd. As for Chisholm Trail, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Frenship on the 21st.
