St. George's entered their tilt with the Mount de Sales Academy Cavaliers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. St. George's came out on top in a nail-biter against Mount de Sales Academy on Thursday and snuck past 44-41.
St. George's can attribute much of their success to Knoxie Burson, who scored 18 points along with 3 steals. Mady Pye was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 13 rebounds.
St. George's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Mount de Sales Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
St. George's is on the road again on Friday and play against Covenant Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st. Covenant Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Mount de Sales Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Bulloch Academy at 6:00 p.m.
