Denbigh is 0-10 against Gloucester since May of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. Denbigh will host Gloucester at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Denbigh 2.2, Gloucester 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Gloucester will be up against a hot Denbigh squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. Denbigh was the clear victor by a 19-1 margin over Heritage on Thursday. While the Patriots didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Denbigh got a big performance out of Liam Blazek, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-3. Blazek is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of C Valentine, who scored three runs while going 1-for-3.
Denbigh always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .525. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Heritage only posted an OBP of .318.
Meanwhile, Gloucester came into Monday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Smithfield on Monday, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Dukes have posted since May 31, 2024.
Gloucester also got a great performance from Brayden Scott as he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits.
On the hitting side, Gloucester let Grayson Shield and Hank Hardaway run wild. Shield scored a run and stole three bases, while Hardaway went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Jackson East also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
Denbigh's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Gloucester, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Gloucester's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Denbigh hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .410. It's a different story for Gloucester, though, as they've only averaged .234. Will they be able to contain Denbigh's hitters?
Denbigh suffered a grim 24-2 defeat to Gloucester when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Denbigh avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
