Winslow won the last time they faced Blue Ridge and things went their way on Friday too. The Bulldogs blew past the Yellow Jackets 11-2. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Kendra Ybarra, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Amatiel Gonzales, who scored two runs off of a hit.

Winslow always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .706. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Winslow is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Blue Ridge, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Winslow has already played their next match, an 8-2 victory against Snowflake on the 8th. As for Blue Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against Holbrook on the 8th.
