For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Meadowbrook Academy has posted against Countryside Christian since January 28, 2019.
Meadowbrook Academy was led to victory by Gaige Daugherty and Tico Smith. Daugherty scored ten points along with eight steals and six rebounds, while Smith scored 23 points along with five steals. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which Smith has scored at least a third of Meadowbrook Academy's points. Orion Grayer was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Meadowbrook Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Countryside Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Meadowbrook Academy will take on Cornerstone Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
