The Trinity Christian Academy Eagles waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They strolled past Warner Christian Academy with points to spare, taking the game 72-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kaden South, who scored 18 points along with two steals. South continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Ashton Flores was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Trinity Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Warner Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian Academy will take on Holy Cross Lutheran Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Warner Christian Academy, they will stay at home for another game and welcome First Baptist Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd.
