Parish Episcopal will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: DasCHE extended their winning streak to six on Tuesday. The Spartans blew past Nolan Catholic 12-1. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.
Julie Adams was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Adams was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Madi Monk was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Emilie Adams also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). Waterhouse ?28 has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Phoenix Jordan ?29, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.2 stolen bases per game. Adelia DeFriend ?28 was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
DasCHE's record now sits at 7-12-1. As for Parish Episcopal, their record is now 3-1.
Thursday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. DasCHE has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .480.
