Sublette and Satanta are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Sublette Larks will head out on the road to face off against the Satanta Indians at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Sublette is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
Sublette pushed their score all the way to 60 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They suffered a rough 80-60 loss at the hands of Lakin. While losing is never fun, Sublette can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 244th, while Lakin is ranked 18th).
Meanwhile, even though Ingalls scored an imposing 56 points on Tuesday, Satanta still came out on top. Satanta managed a 61-56 victory over Ingalls.
Sublette's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Satanta, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
Sublette strolled past Satanta in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 by a score of 74-57. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sublette since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
