The East Noble Knights will take on the Leo Lions at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. East Noble is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
East Noble proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 21) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Fremont, sneaking past 3-1.

East Noble's win was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Deegan Munk, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Munk is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Cole Strick was another, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one RBI.
East Noble always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fremont only posted an OBP of .333.
Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Leo walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Railroaders with a sharp 13-3 victory on Wednesday. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by six runs or more this season.
Landon Ruoff was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Ruoff was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with four RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Leo let Ethan Wudy and Dominic Rennecker run wild. Wudy went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Rennecker went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Patrick Drudy, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
East Noble's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-9. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 2.25 runs across that stretch. As for Leo, their victory bumped their record up to 21-5.
Saturday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. East Noble hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .355. However, it's not like Leo struggles in that department as they've averaged .346. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
East Noble might still be hurting after the 9-3 loss they got from Leo in their previous meeting on May 6th. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
