The Hanover-Horton Comets's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Columbia Central Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on February 12th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard on Monday.
Last Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Hanover-Horton beat Jonesville 72-68.
Logan Blackledge continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 42 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Luke Soper, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Columbia Central came up short against Jonesville on Monday and fell 72-65.
Hanover-Horton has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Columbia Central, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5.
Hanover-Horton beat Columbia Central 64-52 in their previous matchup back in January. Will Hanover-Horton repeat their success, or does Columbia Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
