Fredericktown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-8 heartbreaker at the hands of the East Knox Bulldogs. On the bright side, the eight- run performance marked the Freddies' highest-scoring game to date.

Fredericktown's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for East Knox, their victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-4.

Coincidentally, Fredericktown and East Knox will both be playing Cardington-Lincoln the next time they take the field. The Freddies will host the Pirates at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bulldogs will host them at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
