The Riverton Wolverines won the last time they faced the Grace Grizzlies, and things went their way on Friday too. The stars were shining brightly for Riverton in a 51-32 victory over Grace. The win made it back-to-back wins for Riverton.
It was another big night for Parker Paxton, who scored 27 points along with eight rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Riverton's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dre'vin Monroe, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Riverton's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Grace, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.
Riverton won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Thunder Basin at 8:00 a.m. on December 16th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wyoming (Thunder Basin is ranked 46th, while Riverton is ranked 23rd). As for Grace, they will head out on the road to face off against Soda Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
