Beauregard typically has all the answers at home, but  on Tuesday Auburn proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with  a   7-2  win over the Beauregard Hornets. The  victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won nine in a row.

 On the hitting side,  Laina Rae Sawyer was  incredible,  scoring two  runs while going 4-for-4. Those  four  hits gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Daley Alsobrook, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Auburn  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
Auburn's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Beauregard, their defeat  ended  a  17-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 15-4.
 Looking ahead, Auburn will head out to  face off against Lee-Scott Academy  at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average, (Auburn 3.2, Lee-Scott Academy 3.2) so any  runs scored will be well earned. As for Beauregard, they will be playing at home against Elmore County  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
