There's no place like home for Calexico, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Everything went their way against the Holtville Vikings on Tuesday as they made off with an 11-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Calexico pushed their record up to 12-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Holtville, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-17.

Looking ahead, Holtville will square off against Calipatria at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Calexico will be paying especially close attention to the Vikings' game: after the Vikings face off against the Hornets, they'll take on Calexico again at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
