Volleyball Recap: Andover Comes Up Short

It was a good run, but Andover unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Northwest Grizzlies by a score of 2-1. Surprisingly, this marked the Trojans' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Andover sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 21-25, 25-16.

Andover's loss dropped their record down to 20-11. As for Northwest, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 27-6.

Coincidentally, Andover and Northwest will both be playing Goddard the next time they take the court. The Grizzlies will host the Lions at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
