 On Elizabeth Forward's side,  Shelby Telegdy made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out ten batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits. Telegdy has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in nine consecutive pitching appearances. Telegdy was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with a  double.
 In other batting news, Elizabeth Forward got a big performance out of  Carlee Soukup, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Addyson Nigut, who  went 3-for-3 with two  RBI.
 Chartiers Valley's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Elizabeth Forward, the  win was  the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-1.
