It was a good run, but the Chamois Pirates unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They suffered a tough 68-45 defeat at the hands of Christian Fellowship. While losing is never fun, Chamois can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 354th, while the are ranked 176th).
Christian Fellowship's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Abe Seboldt led the charge by scoring 22 points along with six assists and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Davis, who scored 13 points along with seven assists and four steals.
Chamois' loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Christian Fellowship, they pushed their record up to 15-3 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
Chamois is on the road again on Tuesday and plays the at 7:15 p.m. on February 6th. As for Christian Fellowship, they will stay at home for another game and welcome the at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th.
