He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Griph was even better at the plate, going 4-for-5 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs. Those two triples gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Jeremiah Evans was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Mayson Lang, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
Carter hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Volunteer struck out 11 times.
