Sadly, the Tacony Academy Charter Lions are still looking for their first win of the season after 15 contests. They took a 80-62 bruising from Bristol on Wednesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Bristol's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kyleal Cottrell, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was John Sozio, who scored 15 points.
Tacony Academy Charter's defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Bristol, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-12.
Tacony Academy Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bristol, they will head out on the road to square off against New Hope-Solebury at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
