Holy Cross is 10-0 against Valley since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Holy Cross Cougars will look to defend their home court against the Valley Vikings at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Holy Cross posted their biggest win since December 28, 2023 on Monday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 56-27 victory over Louisville Saints HomeSchool. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Holy Cross had established a 23 point advantage.
Meanwhile, Valley was fully in charge two weeks ago, breezing past Portland Christian 68-38 on the road. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Valley.
Holy Cross pushed their record up to 12-9 with that win, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 40.67 points. As for Valley, their win bumped their record up to 13-3.
Holy Cross strolled past Valley when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a score of 70-51. Will Holy Cross repeat their success, or does Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
