The Broncos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.

Kiah Haston made a big impact no matter where she played. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
In other batting news, Alexia Sullo was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one double. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. Sara Spidalieri was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Palm Beach Central hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Oxbridge Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against Archbishop McCarthy, falling 11-2. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the ThunderWolves, who until this matchup were averaging 3.44 runs allowed.
Oxbridge Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ella Bianco, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.
Palm Beach Central is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.1 runs over those games. As for Oxbridge Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.
Friday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Palm Beach Central hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .352. However, it's not like Oxbridge Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .346. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
