The Tippecanoe Red Devils lost against the Northmont Thunderbolts back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Tippecanoe fell just short of Northmont by a score of 55-52. Tippecanoe has struggled against Northmont recently, as their matchup on Saturday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Tippecanoe had strong showings from Jackson Smith, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds, and Maddox Sivon, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and five assists. Sivon set a new season high mark in steals with four. Preston Zumwalt was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Tippecanoe's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Northmont, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
