Basketball Recap: Central City Value Falls Despite Big Games from Andy Lobos and Brandon Valencia

Central City Value lost against Orthopaedic two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Central City Value Jaguars took a 58-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Orthopaedic Vipers. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central City Value's loss came despite strong showings from Brandon Valencia and Andy Lobos. Valencia went 7-for-17 on his way to 18 points in addition to six rebounds and three blocks, while Lobos dropped a double-double with 17 points and 12 boards. The game was Lobos' fourth in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Maverick Pineda, who posted eight points and five boards.

Central City Value's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Orthopaedic, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-5.

As of now, neither Central City Value nor Orthopaedic have any future games scheduled.
