Berkeley won the last time they faced Mt. Eden and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Yellowjackets put the hurt on the Monarchs with a sharp 19-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Yellowjackets, who have now won 11 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Camil Babij Ross was incredible, going 4-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Arielle Henriquez, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Berkeley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive games.
