Meanwhile, after soaring to 43 points the game before, Jasper was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They took a 14-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of Beaumont United.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Ja'Keman Harris, who rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards. Isaiah Coleman was another key player, rushing for 64 yards on only nine carries.
