Watervliet had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They blew past the Catskill Cats 3-0. The Cannoneers were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Cats, so the Cannoneers were just returning the favor.
Watervliet never let Catskill on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 25-20.
Watervliet's offense was headlined by Tyleonna Edge and Lily Donnelly, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Sophia Rogers and her 18 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
