The Eastlake Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 68-39 defeat at the hands of Pebble Hills. Eastlake has struggled against the Spartans recently, as their contest on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Pebble Hills got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Krystal Talavera out in front who scored 20 points along with three steals. Talavera hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Jordan Sapien was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
Eastlake dropped their record down to 10-19 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Pebble Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season.
Eastlake will head out on the road to square off against the Troopers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eastwood will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. Pebble Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
