Cairo had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.9 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They walked away with a 22-14 victory over the Westover Patriots. For the Syrupmakers, this counts as revenge for the 29-10 win the Patriots walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Although Westover took the loss, they still got scores from Gabriel Hooper and Randy McAfee.

Cairo's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Westover, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-3.

As of now, neither Cairo nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
