Inchelium is a perfect 6-0 against Wellpinit since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Hornets will head out to take on the Redskins at 2:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Inchelium has five straight victories, Wellpinit has 26 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

While Inchelium's win against Almira-Coulee-Hartline wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hornets narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Warriors 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hornets have posted against the Warriors since May 16, 2022.

Keirdan McLaughlin was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Isabella Finley, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Wellpinit came up short against Mary Walker on Tuesday, falling 19-3.

Wellpinit's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Inchelium, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.

Inchelium took their win against Wellpinit when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 25-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
