The Van Nuys Wolves won against the Panorama Pythons last Friday with 57 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. Van Nuys walked away with a 57-47 victory over the Pythons. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Van Nuys.
Despite the loss, Panorama still got an impressive performance from Alan Rodriguez, who scored 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rodriguez has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jairo Sandoval, who scored eight points.
Van Nuys is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Panorama, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.
Van Nuys will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. Sylmar is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 67.3 points per game this season. As for Panorama, they will head out on the road to take on the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Chavez is out to stop a seven-game streak of losses at home.
