The North Marion Huskies were the 70-47 winner over the Grafton Bearcats when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. North Marion fell just short of the Bearcats by a score of 55-52. North Marion has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Huskies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caden Morris, who scored 22 points. Jeffrey Landon cowger was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 15 rebounds.
Even though they lost, North Marion smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
North Marion dropped their record down to 6-6 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Grafton, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.
North Marion will head out on the road to face off against the Minutemen at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Grafton, they will be playing at home against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
