Wall strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Stanley County Buffalos 56-6. Tanner Volmer had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 146 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine carries, while also throwing for 161 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024. Teelan Kjerstad was in the mix too, providing Wall with two scores.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Wall's defense and their four sacks. Younger Amiotte was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Special teams was a major factor in the game for Wall, racking up 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Dawson Handcock, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Wall's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Stanley County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
