It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 51-18, which was the final score in Salisbury's tilt against Lake Forest on Tuesday.
Kayleigh DeMarco was Salisbury's leading scorer, having posted seven points.
Hayleigh Galeone took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with a assist.
Meanwhile, Indian River took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They claimed a resounding 53-25 win over Worcester Prep at home.
Early College's victory bumped their season record to 0-0 while Salisbury's defeat dropped theirs to 0-2.
Salisbury came up short against Indian River in their previous meeting back in February of 2017, falling 35-24. Can Salisbury avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
