Collierville got themselves on the board against Whitehaven on Tuesday, but Whitehaven never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 19-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Dragons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Collierville got a massive performance out of Braylie Wertz, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Karrington Mitchell was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Collierville has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Collierville will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Benedict at Auburndale at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Whitehaven, they are taking a road trip to challenge Overton at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The contest will give the Tigers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
