Last Tuesday, Byron Nelson earned a 61-49 victory over the Chargers. Given Byron Nelson's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 134th, while the Chargers are ranked 410th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Southlake Carroll came up short against the Eagles on Tuesday and fell 53-43.
Byron Nelson is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season. As for Southlake Carroll, their loss dropped their record down to 18-8.
Byron Nelson ended up a good deal behind the Dragons when the teams last played back in January, losing 61-44. Can Byron Nelson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
