Ten must be Central Montcalm's lucky number: they beat Breckenridge with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Hornets beat the Huskies by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-4. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Central Montcalm's seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Breckenridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Montcalm will take on Kent City at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Breckenridge, they will challenge Vestaburg at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Huskies are facing the Wolverines at the right time seeing as the Wolverines are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
