The Delta Rabbits can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They claimed a resounding 42-0 victory over South Sevier at home. The result was nothing new for Delta, who have now won five matchups by 34 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Delta to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kadance Lovell, who rushed for 53 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Stefanoff, who gained 72 total yards and two touchdowns.
Delta's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. Leading the way was Campbell Warnick and his two sacks.
Delta now has a winning record of 6-5. As for South Sevier, their loss was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-9.
Delta will take on South Summit at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. South Summit will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. South Sevier does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
